This is our adaptation of Elizabeth basking in majestic glory.
We emulated her exquisite large lace collar with lots of intricate stitching which was then sewn into place very carefully and accurately above her dress.
There is the finest stitched gold detail on her dress of pomegranates and vines typical of Tudor design.
Her pearls symbolize peace and purity and are perfectly stitched onto her glorious orange hair, she remains tight lipped pale and interesting.
Pale, bejeweled, magnificent.

Influenced by the beautiful Italian renaissance portraits I felt inspired to design my own version and for it to be captivating.
We chose colourful fabrics that work well together and spent a lot of time on his eyes. Beautiful contrasting fabrics for his curly locks and attractive blue plaids for his tunic and hat.
I feel he is captivating and conveys a sense of calmness.
Beautiful, composed, untroubled.

We redesigned his Chelengk a Sultans gift, and order of the crescent, presented to him for outstanding military service, which have a strong presence in this portrait, as they ought too.
